Area Sales Manager
Location: Pacific NW/West Canada, Northeast

Travel Requirements: As required to meet the customer requirements of the territory.

Basic Description

The Area Sales Manager primary role is to lead the sales effort with clients in the pulp mill sector in the assigned geography with a strategic emphasis on achieving growth and hitting sales targets. The Area Sales Manager reports to the Regional Sales Manager. 

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage and lead the sales efforts with clients and the internal sales team.
  • Directly interface with clients on the project requirements, technical aspects and features and benefits of Lundberg Process systems.  Present materials as required.
  • Manage sales related activities, status and projections through CRM.
  • Gain technical knowledge of the Lundberg process products and technologies with internal training, continuous education and study.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key clients.
  • Participation in conferences and industry trade associations.
  • Develop and execute an individual sales plan.
  • Perform market and territory analysis.
  • Contribute marketing content and ideas, participate in the company marketing strategy
  • Actively participate in team meetings, company training events and special events.
  • Complete various reports, sales plans and sales forecasts as required

Desired Qualities 

  • High performing, enthusiastic, self-motivated sales professional that can work independently or in a team environment.
  • Strong business sense and at least 5 years industry expertise selling products, engineering or systems into the pulp mill area.
  • High technical aptitude familiar with application engineering.

Qualifications 

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

  • Experience with budgeting, estimating, schedules and proposal development.
  • Experience in representing the company at customer meetings.

Process Engineer
Lundberg (Lundberg, LLC) is seeking an experienced Chemical Engineer for a process engineering position within our growing company.  Lundberg has nearly 80 years of experience helping our customers meet process improvement, energy reduction, and environmental compliance requirements for a wide range of industrial processes. As a Process Engineer with Lundberg, you will become an integral part of the experienced team that our clients can rely on.

Salary is dependent upon experience and education.

Primary Duties:

  • Process engineering calculations and equipment sizing.
  • Chemical, mass and energy balance calculations.
  • Cost-benefit analysis on new projects.
  • Technical proposal generation for equipment and services.
  • Review of technical documents and specifications.
  • Cost estimation of equipment and services.
  • Technical sales.
  • Correspondence with our vendors, clients, engineering firms, partner companies etc.
  • Interfacing with our designers, project managers, engineers etc.

Qualifications: 

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • BSChE or Pulp and Paper Science degree with 3 to 7 years of experience is preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint etc.
  • Must have good oral and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Focused and efficient with time management and meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in a professional environment.

Project Manager

Lundberg llc is seeking an experienced project manager to join our growing company.  We are the leading worldwide supplier of process systems in several areas within the pulping industry and our Geoenergy division offers air pollution control technologies which are utilized in many different industries.

Primary Duties will include:

  • Manage capital projects from preliminary design, through project start up.
  • Development of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams
  • Equipment sizing calculations
  • Development of process control strategies
  • Specification of valves, instrumentation, piping, etc.
  • Obtain quotations from qualified vendors and procure custom fabricated equipment
  • Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers and management
  • Startup of process systems
  • Field troubleshooting to optimize performance

 

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • BSChE, BSME or Pulp and Paper Science degree with 5+ years relevant project engineering or management experience.
  • Experience with kraft pulp mill desirable.
  • Black liquor evaporator experience desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to industrial job sites throughout the world
  • Ability to meet with suppliers and customers in Brazil and Spain
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to work in a team environment
